This stunning 1970's Sapphire and Diamond 9ct gold cluster ring is a masterpiece in my opinion, dating back to the year 1975 and made by P.D.T who were silver spoon and gold ingot specialists from 1963 to 1987 in Birmingham, UK.
Featuring a timeless halo cluster design, the ring showcases twelve entrancing Diamonds and one large natural 1ct deep blue Sapphire; each displaying a spectrum of colour flashes thanks to the brilliant cut and sharp facets these gemstones have been shaped with. The design gracefully converges into a wide, plain polished shank, crafted in rich 9ct yellow gold.
True to this time's reputation for excellence, this ring's attention to detail is impeccable. Whether as a statement piece or a symbol of a special moment, this ring promises to be a cherished addition to any collection.

RING SIZE: UK Size K (USA 5.25, EU 50)
MEASUREMENTS AND WEIGHT: Cluster face measures 1.2cm tall and 1cm wide. The total weight is exactly 3.28 grams. The 9ct Gold shank is 5mm wide at the shoulders that taper to 2.5mm at the back . The ring profile (at the cluster) sits 6.3mm tall off the finger.
MATERIALS: 9ct Yellow Gold. Natural blue Sapphire. Natural Diamond.

HALLMARKS: Full British hallmarks are present on this fabulous cocktail ring including the Makers mark 'PDT', the 'Crown and 375' purity stamp for British 9ct made 9ct Gold and the date letter 'L' dating this piece to 1975. The 'anchor' stamp indicates this ring was Assayed at the Birmingham Office, UK.
Condition is GOOD: I adore this cocktail ring! Complete with a set of deep and crisp hallmarkings. One of the Sapphire's claws is slightly bent, but the Sapphire is still very, very secure. All other claws are complete. Overall, a stunning vintage cocktail ring ready to be adored for years to come!
