This locket is in a wonderful chunky heart shape with smooth rounded edges and a lovely engraved scroll and foliate design to the front and a plain, polished finish to the rear. Full British hallmarks can be found on the chain and locket including 'BJB' sponsor which were a fine jewellers established in Britain in 1976. This necklace also features the high collectable and rare Assay Office stamp on the Chester Hallmarking Office.
This locket oozes vintage charm, especially with the hallmarks being so visible still and the locket being in near pristine condition with extremely light wear.
This locket is a wardrobe staple, the 9ct solid gold figaro link chain necklace will live in your collection forever. Wear alone or as part of your everyday necklace stack.
The locket opens up horizontally (just like a book would) and the original frames and protective covers can be seen included.
It comes suspended on an 18" 9ct gold figaro chain. This is the original chain that came with the locket which makes it even more special! This would make a really heartfelt gift or keepsake with space for two special photographs to keep close to your heart.
My favourite part of this necklace has to be the lockets bail, which is the most chunky and beautiful bail I have ever seen!
