PROFILE: This ring sits 1.1mm off the finger.
BAND SHAPE: This is a D-shaped band. The D-shape makes this ring extremely comfortable to wear as it sits snug against your finger with a curved outside profile.
CONDITION: The inside of the shank bears a complete set of British hallmarks including the Anchor, stamped by the Assay Office of Birmingham with the '9' and '•375' representing the gold purity. The Maker's marks 'L.W & Co' is present. Little information on this Jewellers is available but we know they were established circa. 1940 in England, UK and they traded from London. The date stamp 'K' tells us this ring was hallmarked in the year 1959. The Gold is warm and bright; the hallmarks are very visible still. There is light surface wear present around the band aswell as a worn down original chamfered design I have captured well in the video. A historic resizing mark is also visible when studied. Overall, a gorgeous 9ct Gold ring with bundles of vintage allure!
