The large natural Diamond is held within a six-claw setting which was first introduced by Tiffany over 125 years ago, which is a style of setting generally only used on Diamonds of a larger size as it affords better protection than four claws and holds the diamond much more securely. The setting is nice and tall too, so when worn next to a gold wedding band the height allows the Diamond to take centre stage, just as intended.
